Den Parents,

I am excited to let you know about an upcoming activity our Den will be doing called Treasure Hiking. 

We will be taking a hike looking for treasures that have been hidden in our public parks. We use an electronic device called a GPS unit to help find these treasures. You can find out more information about this activity at www.treasurehiking.com

Make sure not to miss this event as it will qualify your son for a number of rank achievements and individual awards.

Make sure to bring:
- hiking appropriate shoes
- clothing for the weather
- water - Treasure Hiking is thirsty work
- a small flashlight - treasures can be hiding in dark places
- bug spray
- sun screen
